Are you a healthcare professional interested in learning more about how to care for women with mental health concerns in perimenopause and menopause? The expert team of women’s health and mental health professionals at BRIA has created the Menopause Mental Health Provider Certification Training Program for this very reason.
The goal of MMHPC is to educate you as a healthcare provider so that you gain expertise in the bio-psycho-social changes of mid-life and learn to effectively address the mental health needs of those going through the menopause transition and menopause.
Certified healthcare clinicians such as social workers, psychologists, physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, occupational therapists and other healthcare providers are invited to join this training. MMHPC doesn’t have official accreditation status but providers can often submit to their professional association for select learning credits.
Each session will start with teaching by BRIA staff and will be followed by interactive discussions and opportunities for questions and answers. Relevant reading materials and resources will be shared prior to each session.
