We are pleased to announce a Spring MMHPC (Menopause Mental Health Provider Certification) training. If you are a healthcare provider interested in learning about how to care for women with mental health concerns in perimenopause and menopause, the MMHPC is for you.
The goal of MMHPC is to educate you, as a healthcare provider, so you gain expertise in the bio-psycho-social changes of mid-life and learn to effectively address the mental health needs of those going through perimenopause/the menopause transition and menopause.
Certified healthcare clinicians such as social workers, psychologists, physicians, nurses, psychotherapists, occupational therapists and other healthcare providers are invited to join this training. MMHPC doesn’t have official accreditation status but providers can often submit to their professional association for select learning credits.
Each session will start with teaching by BRIA staff and will be followed by interactive discussions and opportunities for questions and answers. Relevant reading materials and resources will be shared before each session.
