Today, on World Menopause Day, we recognize those who are navigating the complexities of this transformative stage in their lives. Menopause brings about a multitude of changes, both physically and emotionally, and it can feel overwhelming at times. At BRIA, we want to assure you that you are not alone on this journey.
This year’s theme is Cardiovascular Disease (CVD), which can become a significant concern for women entering the menopause phase. Research has shown that menopause hormone therapy (MHT) may reduce the risk of CVD morbidity and mortality if started during the early postmenopausal period, especially for women under 60 years of age, or within ten years since their last menstrual period.
At BRIA, our compassionate team of healthcare professionals specializes in providing expert support and guidance throughout the menopause transition. We offer virtual care services that are convenient and accessible.
If you have questions, concerns, or simply need someone to talk to about the changes you’re experiencing, reach out to us at @BetterBRIA to learn how we can help.
